Early thursday morning a popular IG Model and NYPD School Safety Guard named Mye Johnson, 27 was shot and killed while celebrating her birthday with 2 friends also 27.
The shooting ocurred around 4 a.m. outside a nightclub in Astoria, Queens called “The Soletto” after an argument started between her current boyfriend who was with her, and who some witnesses known to be her ex boyfriend.
Witnesses then say one of the men (which many believe to be the ex) started shooting striking 3 people.
Police responding to a call about a shooting in the area and find Ms Mye Johnson laying on the ground with a gunshot wound in her body and torso. She was then taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where she was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The other 2 that was shot both suffered non lethal injuries.
Mye was beautiful, well loved, very ambitious, and sadly she leaves behind a 7 year old days before Christmas. She was currently in the process of opening up her food spot in Bushwick, Brooklyn called “Brooklyn Bites” and was excited about becoming a new Black Business Owner.
