Today we just found out that Atlanta rapper Trouble DTE was shot and killed last night in his hometown of Atlanta while sitting inside of his car. The news broke this morning when his sister posted rest in peace to her brother on social media.
For those that don’t know who Trouble is, he was an artist from Duck Tape Entertainment started by Atlanta rapper Big Bank Black which gained notoriety in the late 2000’s after a video surfaced of another Atlanta rapper that was signed to T.I.’s label Grand Hustle Yung LA getting jumped inside of a tattoo shop by who many suspected to be DTE members.
Since then he has since made a pretty good name for himself linking up with rappers like Gucci Mane, Drake, Young Dolph, Migos, and many others, which allowed him to earn a living booking shows and charging for features.
Trouble appeared to be focusing more on his career as one of the older rappers in the Atlanta rap scene and haven’t been into any public beefs other than a back and forth he had with DTE CEO Big Bank Black back in 2020 that spiraled all over Social Media.
